This is some seriously outside-the-box thinking! 🧠⚡ Putting nuclear reactors underground could solve a lot of safety and space issues—but 2026 for a functioning reactor?

That said, if they pull it off, it could be a game-changer for clean energy. 🌍⚛️

Has anyone yet seen any reactor built, eve, that makes it through a design life cycle without needing any maintenance or inspections that require direct access? Even once?

And how does this solve any space issues? You still need the land above it.
