@haubles controversial take on the m.s. size thing, but imo a huge underrated problem is that from a publishing/reach perspective the fact that m.s. is the largest server is exactly what makes it an appealing server for my connectedplaces account, and thats why im not moving from there.
for that account i care about reach. and because almost nobody can afford to defederate from m.s. due to collateral dmg being too large, m.s. is simply the best server for me
@haubles its absolutely a bit cynical read, and im very aware that other people have very different needs and priorities. just wanted to point this out that the size of m.s. also creates new types of incentives for individuals that dont align with network health
