Saw someone post about how their #creditcard got stolen via #Apple pay twice, and #Apple won't inform them and how terrible this is and what a hassle it was dealing with the bank and how they hope it doesn't happen again.

and all I could think is - why are you still using #ApplePay if its such a terrible, clearly insecure product?

We are truly screwed if people won't even quit #bigtech in this kind of situation...

@ncoca Because of the convenience and security of it all. Even if the story is true, that’s still like 99% secure

@ncoca Perhaps because that's an unlikely story in the first place. Apple Pay doesn't have or send any credit card information.

People will post anything, it's unwise to simply accept it as truth.
