@panda The advantage of playing older Football Manager games is that you have the foresight of hindsight.

You can buy all the players who were teenagers in 2014 but go on to be world class players in 2020 in real life.

Grab a bargain, get a superstar. 馃槅

@matt @panda well, that doesn't always help. How much talent a player has was edited by the local scout at that time (or left blank and therefore a random number) and not in hindsight after evaluating the career. So I think there were a lot of mistakes, especially with very young players. 馃

@matt and some are really quite "real". That Freiburg coach stayed in real life also quite long, which is a very rare thing both in FM and in real life.

Btw the dudes who introduced me to this were from Drammen ;)

@panda @matt I edited the official stats for SC Freiburg in the Football Manager for several years, until 2013 or 2014, I think.
