Don't believe the hype folks. Peacemaker season 2 is great fun. The big narrative twists totally caught me napping (oof, a knee to the implicit bias, right where it hurts), and although there wasn't as much plot as in season 1, there was a lot more character development.
The score continued to be awesome, and the new opening title dance number grew on me. As I got to know the new characters, I found myself having different reactions to their part in it.
@strypey I enjoyed it. The final "episode" was a little jarring though. I wish I'd gone into the second to last episode knowing that it was the real finale and they were just going to wrap up loose ends in the final ep.

Fair comment. The final episode was more like a prelude to the Salvation arc than a completion of the story arc for that season. Which, as you say, was pretty much wrapped up in the penultimate episode.
I agree somewhat.
It was still fun mostly, and there were still some genuine laughs despite the writing feeling 'phoned in' compared to season 1. But the superman tie-in was forced af, and the ending was pretty much a total fail imo.
It was not as bad as some of the online commentariate made it out to be for sure tho.

I haven't seen James Gunn's Superman. Didn't affect my enjoyment at all.

No accounting for taste. It left me super excited for another season, or whatever comes next.
