"The transistion to renewable electric power sources has been moving fast enough. Many feel we passed peak carbon emissions and many others suggest it is only one more year. While there are still low hanging fruit (cough, coal seam fires, cough), fossil fuel is no longer used for electricity and is being phased out for transportation. We may enter into a world where energy becomes like clothing: cheap enough to get enough that its not a worry."
