Carbon dioxide is not the heat. Carbon dioxide is the closed window in the car, in the sun.
The amount of CO2 in the atmospherev'holds' the suns heat better. Like a closed window holds heat.
The closed window and CO2 will increase heat past the point where it will kill your daughter.
Unless we have FAR less than now, HEAT WILL still INCREASE.
Not when we stop adding CO2, that's still a closed window. We have to open the window, but we're still adding CO2

Aside from the obvious answer… baseline shift. People who spend their lives in a new normal that nearly everyone chose while telling themselves that nobody did

Say, is Pakistan's heat going to be that place by, what, 2050? When will hurricanes & typhoons be so powerful & often that SE-USA, Philippines, Caribbean can't be lived in? What age & younger makes you the likely victims of todays lunatic politicians?
…Who knew that eating meat and shipping shit around the world and flying and building cruise ships and millions of cars and going wherever we like whenever we like in them and not retrofitting homes and pouring millions of tonnes of concrete into new ones would lead us here
