#LongCovid

In my opinion, everyone has basically suffered a little COVID brain damage and lost at least 10% patience.

How do I know? Everyone is having this same experience: tries to describe an interesting idea to a friend or spouse, has the second person explain the status quo to them like they are an idiot. First person is infuriated by the implication that they are an idiot.

Happens to everyone. It happens to me, frequently, and to friends in front of me.

On one hand it is like some people are having so many cognitive problems that they need to recite the status quo just to keep track of what is normal and resent any possibility of making it more complicated. On the other, do your best friends really think you are stupid now? Getting angry certainly isn't going to help.

We all lost patience and we now all have to cope with additional stress.

It is like a show where the one guy in the hazmat suit is the only sane one left.
