Yesterday was Bram Stoker’s 178th birthday! 🎂
Known for THE LADY OF THE SHROUD and THE LAIR OF THE WHITE WORM, Stoker gave the world its most iconic vampire with DRACULA. 🧛♂️

@internetarchive Actually it's "Dracula's monster, Bram Stroker". A common mistake.

@internetarchive I have tried. It's actually terribly written (the diary just keeps going, without anything actually happening), but someone figured out how to make some incredible stories out of it.

In a totally different vein, Dumas' work is very difficult to read in many of its English translations, but they are amazing stories (I wish I could read in French).
