Mahmoud Ashour, spokesperson for Gaza’s Forensic Evidence Department:
⭕️ The visible injuries on the bodies handed over by the Israeli occupation in Gaza raise serious concerns. Some show signs of surgical procedures, the reasons for which remain unclear.
⭕️ Several bodies bear marks consistent with being run over by military vehicles, as well as evidence of crushing, suggesting the victims were deliberately killed this way.
⭕️ Other bodies show fractures to the skull and ribs, indicating severe violence.
⭕️ The evidence strongly points to violations of the Geneva Conventions by Israel and must be presented to the International Criminal Court.
⭕️ Due to limited forensic resources in Gaza, the identities of the victims cannot be confirmed, and recognition is only possible through distinctive features known to their families.
