Oh, yeah, it's my #Fediversary today. As far as I can tell, anyway, because my first toot on Hachyderm, where I started, was posted exactly three years ago.

(Minus two hours, but I can't be arsed to wait)

It was about the fact that my existing display name, 'Sindarina, Finder of Edge Cases', did not fit into the default 30-character limit. This forced me to come up with 'Sindarina, Edge Case Detective', which I have used ever since, and which is, in my opinion, better in every way.

About half an hour later, I fulfilled my contractual obligation to post at least one (1) Emperor's New Groove GIF upon joining a new platform.

I ended up moving to 'mastodon.lol', and then here when the .lol admin ragequit, but it really has been the best social media experience I have had so far.
