Some unknown cactus species basking in late afternoon sun. That's an ocotillo behind it.

A color landscape photo of a low cactus, colored yellow orange from the late afternoon sun, in a landscape of light colored sharp angular rocks. The cactus has many tightly clustered fat fingers with dense two inch long thorns. Behind the cactus on the right are the many round spears clustered at the bottom and flaring out from the base. The long spears disappear out the top of the photo. In the distance are brown roughed mountains.
