Last night I camped at the base of the hill that this radome is on. I guessed it to be a National Weather Service (NWS) Doppler radar. But the NWS doesn't have a radar station located on Red Mesa, WNW of Seligman, Arizona. Turned out it is an air traffic control radar site.

A black and white portrait photo of a radar installation. On the right, behind a short tower on the left that has a square framework at the top with four antennas sticking up from the corners, is a large roundish tower with a big white ball on top. It is quite large, maybe 75 feet in diameter? The sun is hiding behind the radome on the upper right as evidenced by a bright spot behind the dome.
