oh shit i totally missed that LMDE 7 got released!! and you can upgrade directly from LMDE 6! which i would do in a heartbeat, except new, bigger hard drive just came in, so i'm thinking i should swap in the new HD and partition everything right and do a fresh LMDE 7 install, then transfer over my files as necessary.
