Why Nextcloud feels slow to use

@jbz@indieweb.social one of the worst nextcloud experiences is when you are trying to collaborate on a document across regions. Prior administration had set up Nextcloud on a server in Germany, and I remember every character I typed would have like 300ms latency, and sometimes it would just disappear before reappearing. I'm surprised nobody has actually taken the idea Nextcloud and recreated a leaner version of it.
