Somebody in #LosAngeles really went as the destroyed East Wing for #Halloween.

Night on a street in LA. A person wearing black pants and a white shirt has covered almost the entirety of their upper body in an incredibly elaborate replica of the White House with the destroyed East Wing. There is even a small model excavator as was seen in news photos.

Whoever did this can now rest easy knowing they aren't the biggest dopes in US history.

"In 1818, the US began building a fort near the New York-Quebec border to defend against invasions from Canada. After two years of construction, they realized the fort was actually on the Canadian side. They abandoned it and named it Fort Blunder."
The overgrown foundations of a military installation sit amidst dense forest on the banks of Lake Champlain. It wasn't a complete loss; the locals got a great laugh and scavenged the unused stone for their own buildings.

(Like, embarrassing as it was, cartography was not the exact science then that it is now, and the planners received outdated maps. What's Trump's excuse?)
