Maybe it should be an obligatory series to watch in school.
On the other hand is the fascis/rebel fighting in Star Wars somehow making the bad guys look cool, and people dress up as storm troopers and darth vader.
I don't think normal people understand the bottom plot line of star wars. So I doubt they will get what B5 is about.
