Context for this one: I have considered it fairly likely for a while that I may have endometriosis, but since I have had significant reductions in my symptoms from going on a low oxalate diet and then from taking antihistamines and then from going on MHT, I'm not interested in having surgery to find out.
But today I was idly wondering whether the success with antihistamines made endometriosis less likely, and led to today's EuropePMC adventures.

It's funny that about 5 years ago my husband and I would joke that my first step for any kind of medical situation was electrolytes - so like if a kid scraped their knee we would joke "maybe we should try some electrolytes" but now I am fully on board with "ok, first let's try antihistamines!" for every fucking thing because it's ALWAYS FUCKING MAST CELLS 😶

And low key, electrolytes are still awesome to let someone "know they'be been physicked", as I believe Stephen from the Master & Commander books would say. As long as they don't have high blood pressure/sodium sensitivity 😅
