@Em0nM4stodon I have tried many many clients but have arrived at: IceCubes on iOS and Moshidon on Android!
Both have hashtag group timelines, displays which hashtag you're following when a post shows up on your timeline (from following said timeline) and the UX & UI is very well thought out for both as well.
@Em0nM4stodon Tusky. It's probably the best for Android, but the lack of support for quote posts is off putting.
@Em0nM4stodon Moshidon, it's just so cleanly designed
@Em0nM4stodon I usw @Tusky. I really like it.
@Em0nM4stodon Started with Tusky and have stayed with it.
@Em0nM4stodon Mona is my favorite because it's intuitive to me, and does everything I need.
But a close second is Toot! which also has features I like, as well as a fun personality. But it's one extra click to bookmark, and I bookmark a lot.
Neither one uses AI, which matters to me. I have both on my home screen.
@Em0nM4stodon Megalodon. Great features and layout. Sometimes crashes though. Also Trunks. Beautiful, simple, but didn't handle custom reactions great.
I honestly just use the PWA now.
@Em0nM4stodon Uh, I use Mastodon, should I try something else?
I've been using Fread, enjoying the convenience of having bsky & mastodon in the same place.
@Em0nM4stodon Here to advertise for "the browser". I have trust issues, never have to seperately update the thing, and it is one less thing I need to worry about when switching platforms.
@Em0nM4stodon Tusky for me as well.
@Em0nM4stodon I've used Ivory for a few years - it works well for me, I like the UI and the logo.
 @Em0nM4stodon I use Tusky on Android and while it's good, there are two things I don't like about it:
- no way to see which things I've marked as Favourites;
- when sharing a post to email it puts the URL as the subject rather than in the email body.
So I'll be interested in some others to look at.
@Em0nM4stodon I like Toot!
The interface just feels nice and intuitive, and I don't have to tweak it much to see the things I want to see.
@Em0nM4stodon I use Metatext because I don鈥檛 know anything different
@Em0nM4stodon I tried a bunch of them last year. Tusky had exactly the functionality I wanted and I liked its UI and design choices. Haven't needed or wanted to try anything else since then. Should I? (I'm on Android, btw.)
@Em0nM4stodon Mona is great, and Ivory.
@Em0nM4stodon toot! it's just fun and charming
@Em0nM4stodon another vote for Tusky on Android
@Em0nM4stodon Mona App. I don鈥檛 remember why I liked it in the first place. The one time payment option? Quote post option? I can change the icon to match our fearless leader @theropologist (it鈥檚 a rooster)?
Edit- proof
@farah @Em0nM4stodon @theropologist Kewl beans! Didn鈥檛 even see that one. Thanks.
 @Em0nM4stodon
Web browser. 馃槒
(Sarcastic? Yes. But also deeply serious.)
@Em0nM4stodon I use Tusky because that's what I've always used. I am not aware of a better Android option
