All else aside, it's a bit demoralizing that a professional-grade suite like Affinity has been reduced to subscription-bait for AI tools.
Canva took a good, hard look at the best alternative to Adobe Creative Suite and said, "I bet we could sell a lot of Dave & Busters cards with that."

I missed it before, but the new #Affinity app includes an AI chatbot called Ritson.
There's also the last question on this FAQ: https://www.affinity.studio/help/canva-ai-canva-ai-affinity-ml/
"Can I disable AI in Affinity?
"No, you can't disable or remove AI features in Affinity, but it's your choice if you use them."
So, yeah… thanks, but no thanks.
Like… if I don't have to use the AI features, why can't I disable them? You obviously know that some people want to disable them, because you addressed the question before you even launched the app. Would making it possible to toggle AI off have been that difficult?
