And these new systems will be requiring us to keep track of data we've never kept; ok knowing I've had a DL for 3 years is easy; unless it's been only slightly less; how, or why ? would I keep a record of such a minor transaction?
Or past addresses -- I know some, but not all. Now they I'm old I've stopped moving around; but again, I've never kept dossier on myself.
Humans are not made of data. This kind of stuff seems to never be considered when making up these schemes.

Answer from me, a #union shop steward:
They are often unpaid.
They are always temporary.
They can be insta-fired without cause.
They will not bring a discrimination (or any kind of) case against their employer or participate in labor organizing because they don't want to be blacklisted.
They almost never draw benefits.
It's generally expected they don't need any facilities (desk, laptop) and will just find any open place to work.
