In Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, the Palestinian artist Khaled Hussein, 50 years old, continues to create art amid the ruins. After losing his home in Rafah to Israeli bombardment, the sculptor, who has spent over 26 years perfecting his craft, now gathers clay from the rubble of destroyed homes to create sculpt faces.
