@pallenberg #CachyOS ist derzeit nicht umsonst auf #1 bei #distrowatch. Herrrrrlich :)
@pallenberg Sauber 👍 Und direkt „RoboCop: Rogue City“ im Titelbild - ❤️ dieses Game.
@pallenberg What's more, the 10% which does not work, is all logistical rather than technical, i.e. games using EAC which DOES work with Linux but companies choose not support (like Epic Games itself).
Gets even better when you realize there's a number of games which work in linux but do not work in windows anymore, too. Windows itself cannot claim 100% of games work with it.
@pallenberg Been with linux *specifically* for video games since 2000. I got into Linux entirely because the Linux version of Quake 3 was $5 at microcenter in 2000 when the PC version was still $40. Linux has been my daily driver ever since. I've had a front row view of how linux gaming has evolved, and believe me when I say I very honestly thought we'd never get here. People outright don't realize how insane this all is today. Outstanding work.
@GabeMoralesVR oh I hear you and yes, I remember the times when Quake 3 created this amazing buzz around gaming and Linux. To finally see that it all became a reality.. this is absolutely amazing
@pallenberg It's crazy to me that Ryan Gordon is *still* making great things happen in Linux. What a community.
