@wojtek Oh that's a very good question! I really don't know what's the situation when versions are being upgraded. My approach is more "radical" - completely wipe the system for every new version. I keep a few essential home folder things backed up to be restored and a list of packages/apps to install afterwards.

@konstantin @opensuse hmm... in theory having `/home` on separate partition could work (and probably is the most sensible thing to do :D). As for packages - it would only be firefox + Aisleriot (if my father won't like kpatience) :)

@konstantin yeah, I test Kpatiens, Aisleriot and one more and aisleriot *felt* somewhat better but on fedora Kpatience was OK as well :D
I'm on a verge of selecting "automatic partitioning" and hoping it won't wipe the whole windows partition xD
Uhm... selected "custom", at least it gave me an overview of what it would do (and nothing said "deleting partition") so fingers crossed that it will work and I'll have windows dual boot "just in case" xD
