#ParkRun 104 comes to you this morning from..... a vineyard!
@TheBreadmonkey Where’s that? Squerrys?
@TheBreadmonkey Ooh, I might have to do that one.
It's extremely pretty. I found it hard, but as I said it was my second best time this year. 68% of the pack, which is about normal for me, as my primary goal is just to maintain a steady pace and finish without stopping. 138 runners, which is a bit different from Norman Park, which is normally around 700+ I think. So I always expect to do worse as smaller events as they tend to attract the more hardcore runnists. But yes I recommend!
@TheBreadmonkey Thanks. That’s not too far from me, so I’ll definitely give it a go.
Huzzah! Maybe actually meet you one day if its not too weird. We can always pretend we don't know each other. If I see a person with a hand for a face, I can just slowly shuffle away...
@TheBreadmonkey That would fill me with terroir.
Nick. I won't rest until you have total control of one of the major streaming platforms where they must simply listen to what you say then turn it into some of the greatest entertainment the world has ever seen. Someone get the Prime Minister on the phone. Whoever that is at the moment, I forget. Nick for PM!
Also - @julianlawson for the pun
Every mile you get to stop and sample a little of their wine, sort of like a wine tasting combined with a run.
I've signed up to do the Bacchus run a couple of times but never quite made it due to injury. One day....
I didn't realise there was an actual race which featured wine stops.
That doesn't sound nice.
Actually, that looks tremendous fun.
I would quite like to do that, and it says it's walkable.
@TheBreadmonkey
Champ-pain !
Enjoy...
@TheBreadmonkey having looked through Wikipedia, there is not a single major wine variety that makes an acceptable running pun. Even by my standards.
@julianlawson @TheBreadmonkey Not even Chaplis?
@TheBreadmonkey Drink n run?
