@hiphopheaven Great point and i absolutely agree.

I think for many coming to the #fediverse happens out of curiosity as well as it being a generally safe space for marginalized people.

They then see the cool things this place has to offer and get excited about it even more so. That's the trend i've watched since 2017.

But then their friends won't join and that sometimes affects whether or not they stay, go or use both #centralized & #decentralized platforms.
