I've seen articles saying November #SNAP benefits won't be sent. The pressure on food banks will be tremendous. Many US protest groups are combining mutual aid with protesting. Volunteering or donating is a great contribution to the resistance, and those unable to protest (e.g., members of very targeted groups) are working hard to feed communities.

Please remember, cash donations are better than canned food, but food banks are hesitant to say so.

But, of course that doesn't mean don't have a food drive. Everybody is used to the idea, and it does help. If you do want to host a donation drive of food or personal items, here's a guide from Feeding America:
