The issue has been resolved and everything is running again.

@bergmeister I can live with that. No need for HA in the search here. And thanks for doing all the work. 🙏
@recollir the impact on the mastodon instance was of course limited. But it is also the system through which I connect to the rest of the system, it hosts the wiki, etc. So a bit in the background, but still a thingy for me.

@recollir I can still access the other systems, even when this one is down. Just a tat bit more complicated / tedious. Would not justify the costs for an HA solution. 😅
Feedback from Hetzner about the cause:
"an urgent maintenance had to be performed on the Cloud-Servers hostnode."
This is by the way the first outage of a VM in the almost 3 years of running mountains.social. Not bad at all.
