Advent of Code will be running fewer puzzles per year from now on, due to the effort involved being unsustainable.
It will also be removing the global leaderboards (private ones remain). People were definitely always super toxic about the global leaderboard, but I have to assume that people setting up AI scripts to hammer the site, grab the problem and attempt to solve it faster than a human could even read it were the last straw.
