#UnpopularOpinion Just because Signal had connection problems due to AWS problems doesn鈥檛 make me think about switching to something else. I hope Signal will implement better failover solutions for the future and share with us how they prepare for the next AWS region outage or, even better, how they plan to get rid of this SPOF (Single Point of Failure) completely. Also: AWS folks fixed this after less than 3 hours. In the grand scheme of things, this event will be forgotten soon enough anyway.
