Je sais que #unpopularopinion ici mais moi je fais partie des gens qui considèrent que la gauche devrait se réapproprier les sports de combats. On m'a déjà répondu ici que les sport de combat c'est viriliste et on laisse ça à la droite mais je pense que c'est une grave erreur.

Déjà parce que c'est faux : historiquement beaucoup d'arts martiaux ont pour origine réelle ou légendaire d'avoir été créés par des groupes marginalisés pour se défendre.

I don't think Trump has it in him to go full blown dictator. I far more suspect a very simple, mundane reason for his behaviour: Make as much money as possible, for himself, family and friends. #UnpopularOpinion

I admit that I find it kind of weird when people oppose a government digital ID while they happily accept the digital (shadow) IDs that ad/tracking networks, Facebook, Google, Twitter, Amazon etc already have with less to non-existent oversight and control. #UnpopularOpinion

#UnpopularOpinion Je pense que dans notre système actuel et compte tenu du fonctionnement des élections présidentielles, désigner un candidat par une primaire c'est une très mauvaise idée et ça ne peut pas fonctionner.

Faut que le parti nomme celui ou celle qui jouera le mieux le jeu des médias, qui aura le meilleur charisme et la plus belle gueule. Ya que ça qui marche. Et après éventuellement on fait une primaire pour lea premier•e ministre ! (je sais c'est pas possible mais ça serait mieux)

#UnpopularOpinion Just because Signal had connection problems due to AWS problems doesn’t make me think about switching to something else. I hope Signal will implement better failover solutions for the future and share with us how they prepare for the next AWS region outage or, even better, how they plan to get rid of this SPOF (Single Point of Failure) completely. Also: AWS folks fixed this after less than 3 hours. In the grand scheme of things, this event will be forgotten soon enough anyway.

Last couple of weeks I've been quiet over here in Mastodon, as I have been watching how iOS 26 & Mac OS 26 behave on all of my iOS & Mac OS devices.

Here is an #UnpopularOpinion, I guess, despite the odd quirk and what not, here and there, I quite like the upgrades 😎👍🏻

So far, I haven't found a single issue that would be a show stopper in all of the gadgets I have. Mind you, all of them are, at least, 3+ years old and still fully operational!

What are the odds of that happening, eh? 😜

I'm all against irresponsible uses of LLMs, but users probably wouldn't turn to a natural language prompt to get a properly understandable doc if the documentation effort was decent enough upstream.

Documentation is hard and boring most of the time, but it's what makes your product usable. Bad doc is plain gatekeeping.
