Sister panicked over her laptop death sentence by our beloved #Microsoft overlords, and brought the machine to me to ”fix it somehow”.

I installed #Linux on it, just to make some kind of gesture of doing something – and bc I happened to have an @elementary USB install stick lying around.

Three days later she calls confused, asking ”how do I get HBO on #tv, it just shows the wallpaper now?”.

I suggested dragging the browser window over the screen edge and hitting the full screen icon.

Worked.
