OK Linux folks. With #KDE hitting 29 years old, I'm curious about switching my gaming PC from Windows 11 to KDE. The games I play are listed on ProtonDB as being gold or platinum, so I think I'm good as far as gaming goes, but I have some other software concerns.

What do y'all use for cloud file storage/syncing?

What do you use for image editing/creation?

Where can I find out if my Razer Leviathan and HyperX mic will work on KDE?

@skysong

I use nextcloud which gives a very dropbox like experience but needs a server.

There's also syncthing which can sync directories fully peer to peer.

For images I use inkscape, though krita, and gimp are also popular depending on what specific type of art you're doing

Also this blog has encyclopedic coverage of linux friendly software for any kind of art

The hardware's the harder thing to know about.

I usually suggest trying booting a linux live image so you can see what works without having to reinstall.
