Satellite images have revealed ancient hunting traps used by South American populations. The types of traps have been seen elsewhere in the world such as the Middle East. But now they have been spotted in Chile. The traps known as chacus numbered about 76 and faced downhill using the lie of the land to funnel the prey. Settlements within 5km of them have also been discovered.https://news.exeter.ac.uk/faculty-of-humanities-arts-and-social-sciences/archaeology-and-history/satellite-images-reveal-ancient-hunting-traps-used-by-south-american-social-groups/
