Call it a "Starter Linux" all you want, but I just fucking love how well Mint works.
And the great thing is, when there IS a problem, there is so much documentation out there, that it shouldn't take you long to solve it.
If you're a Windows or a Mac user and you've been considering making the jump to Linux, try out Mint. You can run it from a thumb drive and take it for a spin without even installing it.
@Mrfunkedude Fellow Mint user, here. I love this distro. All my games run on it, between Steam and Lutris.

Had to go look up Lutris. Then I had to ask my son about it because he runs games in Windows. I thought that maybe he would be using it but apparently not. It would be good if he did. I would love to see him ditch Windows like I have done. And some say that games actually run better under Lutris.
@BluesHarp It's a fantastic project. I love that they have install scripts there on site for most games.
