A quick VLC screenshot check and oh yeah, the 2013 "Collector's Edition" DVD of the underrated classic "Ultraviolet" is a huge improvement over the original 2001 set.

It's still letterboxed, a bit desaturated, and there's maybe a hint of DNR in the motion, but the fact that this transfer avoids the near constant rainbow artefacts of the old DVDs makes it a worthwhile upgrade in my opinion.

Fingers crossed we get a fresh transfer sometime soon...Blu Ray maybe?
