@thisismissem @hankgreen please do! Spread the word! If we can have interoperability then you can stake your claim, build your home, and still have access to all of that other stuff. Fedi IS the underlying infrastructure the web NEEDS. The more we mention it, the more seeds we plant, the more likely it is to take hold.
@ozoned yeah, but that still doesn't stop ghost towns from occurring. Not everyone can host their own social network, and the way we're currently building we regularly end up with ghost towns as leadership burns out and chases everyone out of their town
@thisismissem Excellent point, as always. I'm hoping that we find a way to make our digital identities a way for us to move into different apps and services.
