I am so mad that Americans don't have the option to withhold federal taxes when the government is so dysfunctional.

I do not mind paying taxes that actually go into helping people, but it grinds my gears that:

1.) I have to pay taxes to a government so they can build a tacky gold ballroom larger than the White House itself
2.) I have to pay taxes to a government giving bonuses larger than the average salary to masked gestapo so they can traumatize and terrorize the nation
3.) I have to pay taxes to a government who will use that money to pay congressional salaries while that Congress is denying representation to Arizona
4.) I have to pay taxes to a government who uses that money finance genocides and wars
