I don't need to convince anyone on Mastodon but just a friendly reminder that Spotify was an ad platform that settled on music as its lure. It has robbed the livelihood of all musicians, decimating those who lived on the margins even in good times. It reinvested all that stolen money in the future of killing people. It harvested and sold your own data to be used against you.
Music is a precious unifying gift. Fuck Spotify.
