If society accepted wider variety of human existences, we wouldnt seem so broken.
And, I also theorize, we wouldn't be so broken by the peer pressure to "fit in".
My parents started to break me when I was two, just because I had a different rhythm than they expected.
They wanted me to be normal/average/typical/same...
They expected what I was not.
They failed me by not accepting me as I am.
They broke me down.
I'm still recovering decades later.
