I just wanna point out that the increased racism that Black people have been subjected to on the fediverse this past week is part of the larger antiblack backlash to Charlie Kirk's death. HBCUs have had bomb threats called in, at least one prominent Black journalist was fired, I myself was targeted by LibsOfTikTok.
People like to act like the fediverse is somehow separate and better than the rest of social media. It's not, not if Black people are still subjected to the same racist violence.
