@deliri Nein. In 脰sterreich wird 脺berwachung nur bei bestimmten Verd盲chtigen erlaubt. Die Chatkontrolle soll dagegen jedwede Nachrichten auch unverd盲chtiger B眉rger scannen.

Innenminister #Karner ist der gr枚脽te Dollfu脽-Fan des Landes und hat darum wohl ein pers枚nliches Problem mit der deutschen Ursula. W盲hrend man ihre EU-Chatkontrolle ablehnte, will man diese in Eigenregie, unter der Leitung Karners, als ein rein nationales Gesetz einf眉hren.

@echo_pbreyer sorry, my mind was far faster than my fingers, it was supposed to be that they adopted a law that prevented encryption breaking/backdoors, I'm quite sure I saw a article about it in YLE, but not able to find it at the moment

@echo_pbreyer Instead of letting the government monitor it, why not require chat companies to provide parental controls? This would allow parents to monitor their children's activity.
