What’s worse is Apple teaching devs to get more excited about aesthetics than usability and accessibility. There are going to be many apps taking a step back in terms of UX.
It’s not really a new development, though, right?
You could tell something was off at Apple by observing how the content, structure, and focus of the Human Interface Guidelines changed over time. And that has now arrived at a point of #UX and #IxD arbitrariness in #LiquidGlass.
I wonder what that feels like to the original Mac team who put so much heart, thought, and skill into _their_ work. ☹️
