We have made Microsoft’s commitments on Teams legally binding under EU antitrust rules.
Microsoft will unbundle Teams at lower prices, boost interoperability and data portability.
This means more choice for users, and fair competition ensured in Europe.

@EUCommission
"The commitments offered by Microsoft will remain in force for seven years"
So, they already plan to revert/modify the stuff as soon as they can.
I wish that someone in charge would read the fineprint once in a while.
And i'm pretty sure, knowing Microsoft, they will bend the selfproclaimed commitments so drastically that you get into "WTF" mode.
They are not known to follow the regulations by the book.
EU: you cannot win the game unless you stop playing.
@EUCommission @GreenSkyOverMe I believe it when I see it. It’s Microsoft we are taking about.
@EUCommission I wonder if the UK will have access to these excellent arrangements?
@EUCommission Is Microsoft going to make Teams unbroken software that doesn't overheat Android phones until they catch fire?
@EUCommission Good move, but there is still need to do more to ensure fair competition, including stricter enforcement of antitrust rules.
PS You should also prioritize European companies in procurement for EU institutions. It will be good for data security, EU's tech sovereignty and European tech ecosystem.
@EUCommission Oh no, you really never learn. Do you?
