@ajroach42 is been years since I played it, but there is a game where you set up a wiki and the players are all scholars writing about some post event. Those links bring a core part of how it works, iirc the first round everyone writes something on their own based on the initial prompt and includes at least two links to as yet unwritten entries. Then on the following rounds you each pick an empty page and fill it out including links to at least one written and one unwritten entry.
