@arendleejessurun Many libraries stock the novellas by Becky Chambers - science fiction with found families. Great #books for people needing hope.

If you haven't read #Murderbot books by Martha Wells try them too, First in series are in a current HumbleBundle rasing funds for World Kitchen. There's also the AppleTV Murderbot series based on the first book, All Systems Red.

@arendleejessurun Discworld #books by Terry Pratchett are usually positive. Nghi Vo fantasies are provocative and relatable.

Nonfiction books by Naomi Klein are readable and well informed (remember there are two Naomis - Klein is fine, Wolf fell down a rabbit hole).

Any of Alison Bechdel's comic books / graphic novels are great. I'm reading her latest "Spend" now. Nonfiction How to draw musings by Lynda Barry are great too.

So many books I escape into!
