The tiny Warrigal greens shoot that'd self seeded itself in a crack and I took home in half a plastic water bottle I found nearby has embraced the kitchen window area and is thriving.

I probably need to put it in a "proper" pot real soon but I'm kind of worried that if I change tactics at this point I may make things worse.

@mike Literally nothing you can do will kill that. You could try, it would look dead, you'd bury it.

But hark, for it would be a ploy. A few weeks later it would pop out of the ground like a zombie hand.

@Naeva you'd think that, but I had what looked like a well-established patch in a garden bed about a year ago, and then something came through and nibbled off all the leaves and then all the next wave of buds as well, and it never recovered!

I'm hoping to regenerate my bed from this one though. Might start in a different location though, and spread out later.

@josh64 I was foraging in a very non-snek area, should be fine. My current brainworms are enough.

@mike nicely done. i don’t think you can go far wrong - they’re pretty robust and expansive. for interest there are lots of them growing vigorously outside the #StKilda botanical gardens.
