Minor transit annoyance: an automated voice on the tram saying "Now entering X station, doors to my left/right", but the voice is coming from overhead rather than the front of the car, so you can't orient to anything. Whereas if it was a human making the announcement, you would more easily infer that the speaker is facing the front of the car.

A much greater annoyance was the old TTS PA system used by #SoundTransit (Seattle) Link Light Rail which pronounced it "linklight rail" with the emphasis on "light", making the phrase almost unintelligible.
