@rysiek honestly, tin-foil hat aside, yesterday I was wondering who would be the biggest stock market losers, if AI turn out to be a bust. Who has the least ability to pivot? And when I realize that even AI bubble bursts, they will still have all those massive data centers and strong incentive to recoup their investment, it was unsettling.

With the proliferation of cameras, I was betting it was machine vision to go from a panopticon where you don't know if you're being watched to a panopticon where it's guaranteed you're being watched. At that point, they don't need to break the encryption that would require every atom in the solar system be a GPU to crack. Quite arguably, we're already there.

@rysiek you give the grifters too much credit. They are eyeing them for crypto mining the second AI goes off trend.
