If you want to understand how fascist agendas are boosted in the Murdoch media here’s a great case in point.
The lead story on news.com.au is a podcast recap, pushing a decidedly weird anti-immigrant and anti-dole bludger line while also applauding migrant workers for being happy to have jobs (it’s confused).
The podcaster is claiming to be a leader of the stupid racist protest movement gearing up for a jamboree on 31 August.
So he’d have to have a lot of listeners to get this kind of coverage right?
Well he doesn’t even have a score on ListenNote, so he’s not getting a lot of listeners. How about YouTube? Supposedly 4.5k subscribers which is healthy, but doesn’t a celebrity make. And those 4.5k don’t engage much with his content as he’s got a whole 39 views from his video two days ago.
So why is he getting so much attention from News Limited? Because his line of bullshit aligns with their interests.
